Walter "Walt" Eugene Altman

Walter Eugene Altman (Walt), 72, passed away at home. Walt was a lifetime resident of Richmond Hill. He was a member of Midway First Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Pate Altman; mother and step-father, Ruth and Raeford Norris; brother, Bucky Norris and niece, Brandy Davis Kingery. He is survived by Aleene Spoon (Willis) of Richmond Hill, Ruby Allen (Max) of Steinhatchee, FL; Joetta Jenkins (James) of Richmond Hill; Phyllis Davis (Randy) of Richmond Hill; Ricky Norris (Nellie) of Richmond Hill; Rhonda Bryant of Richmond Hill; Janet Hester (Steve) of Port Wentworth; Steven Norris (Theresa) of Savannah; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Burial will follow at Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.
