Victoria Rich Styles

December 6, 1932 — October 31, 2018

Eula Mae Victoria Rich Styles, 85, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at home with her loving daughters present. Vicky was born to Clyde Spencer and Cora Alice Rich on December 6, 1932. She was a graduate of Claxton High School. She and Roy Robert Styles were joined in marriage on September 4, 1949. An accomplished musician, Vicky learned to play the piano at age 4. She spent many years as the music director for Corinth Baptist Church. She also lended her many talents to the community, playing the piano for weddings, graduations, and funerals. Tutoring young children was a passion of hers. Vicky was a talented artist with many of her paintings having been displayed across the state. She loved football and golf. Herschel Walker and Tiger Woods were among her many heroes. Vicky was preceded in death by her parents; a son, SSgt. Roy Spencer Styles; and her husband of 56 years, Roy Robert Styles. She is survived by her daughters, Ruthie Coralyn Styles Chambers of Savannah and Marindy Lea Styles Bush of Perdido Key, FL; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and special friends and neighbors, Sara Carter and Mark and Debi Williamson. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 pm on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Corinth Baptist Church with Reverend Robbie Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Brewton Cemetery in Hagan, GA. Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
