Samuel A. Foster, 72, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Samuel was born on May 17, 1948 in Durham, NC and lived the last ten years on Tybee Island. He retired from the U.S. Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, watching baseball, and working on crossword puzzles. He was a kind gentleman and a true "ladies man". He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Linda Britt Foster; and sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jim Thompson.
Memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Gabe Gill officiating.
