Ruby Woods Cooper

Ruby Woods Cooper, 86, passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Pittsview, AL, and lived most of her life in Glennville, GA and the last 14 years in Richmond Hill, GA.  She was a member of Corner Stone Bible Church in Glennville. She helped start Pinewood Christian Academy and was one of their first employees. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh D. Cooper, Sr.; daughter, Dru Ellen Cooper; parents, Seaborn and Mary Woods; and brother, Zeke Woods. She is survived by one son, Buster Cooper (Crystal), of Savannah; grandchildren, Casey Griffin, Cole Cooper, and Parker Cooper; sister-in-law, Annette Woods; niece, Rhonda Woods Hargrew; and nephew, Derek Woods. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.  Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial following at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA.
