Ret. SFC Geary Charles Stouffer, a proud veteran and cherished family man, was born on February 17, 1952, and passed away on June 26, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, and a profound love for his family and friends.

Geary was a decorated service member of the United States Army, exemplifying dedication and commitment throughout his military career. Following his service, he pursued higher education, graduating from Georgia Southern with a bachelor's degree.

As a father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Geary was known for his warm-hearted nature and the ability to bring joy to those around him. He had an innate talent for making others smile, often ready with a joke that would brighten the day. His love for country music resonated throughout his life, and he particularly cherished the time spent watching college sports alongside his son, a tradition that brought them close together.

Geary is survived by his three beloved children: Kevin Stouffer of Hinesville, GA, Judith Ballard of Spokane, WA, and Katherine Stouffer of Phoenix, AZ. He also leaves behind two granddaughters who were a source of immense joy for him, as well as two sisters who will carry fond memories of their time together.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Young Suk Stouffer, whose memory he cherished throughout his life. The deep bond they shared continues to be an enduring testament to love and devotion.

The kindness and humor of Ret. SFC Geary Charles Stouffer will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, a gentle reminder of the warmth he brought into the lives of so many.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday July 1st at 10:00 A.M. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military Honors.
