Ralph Bailey "R.B." Bashlor

Ralph Bailey “R.B.” Bashlor, 86, passed away peacefully Monday, March 7, 2022 accompanied by his wife, daughter, and caring staff at Cedar Plantation in Metter, GA.

R.B. was a life-long resident of Richmond Hill and a faithful member of Savannah Primitive Baptist Church. He retired from National Gypsum. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed watching college football and NASCAR. Above all, his passion was his family, he enjoyed time spent with them, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Gussie Bashlor; two sisters, Shirley Cowart and Jackie Bashlor; and grandson, William Bashlor.

R.B. is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Patricia Bashlor; two sons and their wives, Ricky and Vicky Bashlor, and Eddie and Angela Bashlor; one daughter and her husband, Jo Anne and Ron Yeakle; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Gloria Saxon; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Savannah Primitive Baptist Church, Post Office Box 60006, Savannah, GA 31420.
