Norman Lee Mobley

August 19, 1936 — May 27, 2021

Norman Lee Mobley, 84, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at home.

He was a life long resident of Liberty County. He retired from Civil Service after 35 years, he owned and operated Laurel Trophies and was a member of the Hinesville Officials Association. He was a life member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was an avid fisherman; who enjoyed musicals, theater and especially attending the Savannah Theater.

He was always quick with a history lesson and a good joke.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Evelyn Mobley.

Norman is survived by his loving children, Rebecca Sanders (Eddie Winn), Norma Lisa Dauro (Joseph), Linda Hannah (Bob), and Glenda Harriman (Darryl); 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 on Monday, May 31, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will immediately follow in Dorchester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Norman’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
