Mary Josephine "Jo" Boyn

Mary Josephine ‘Jo’ Boyn, 87, passed away May 27, 2018 at Bryan County Health and Rehab. Jo was born February 11, 1931 in Pewee Valley, KY to the late Charles and Helen Purvis. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Alan and son Donny. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons and their families, Alan (Sylvia) of Olympia Washington; David (Shari) of Richmond Hill; Danny (Audrey) of Bluffton, SC; and Dickie of Savannah; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Father Allan McDonald officiating.  Interment will immediately follow at Hillcrest Abbey West in Savannah.
