Linda S. Shuman, 71, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Linda spent many of her days with customers who became her friends at her and Bud’s business, Shuman’s Stop & Shop for 25 years. Since her retirement, she enjoyed time with family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs with her granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Bernice Woods; two sisters, Brenda F. Holland and Colleen W. Deal; and one brother, James Darwin Woods.
Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, who was her soulmate and the love of her life, Robert (Bud) Shuman, Jr.; daughter, Tina Shuman of Hinesville, GA; two granddaughters, Heather Flack (Marcus) of Ludowici, GA and Haley Shuman of Zanesville, OH; three great-granddaughters, Shelby, Kaitlyn, and Delilah; one sister, Helen Todd (Dean) of Ludowici, GA; along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Gumbranch Baptist Church, 8590 Highway 196, Hinesville, GA 31313.
