Lester Seale

Lester Seale, 59, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021. He was born on September 15, 1961 in Demopolis, Alabama.  He was raised by the late Grover Seale and Mary Seale, a Union Organizer for the Carpenters Union and a homemaker in Boligee, Alabama.  After graduating high school, he worked on a dredge boat for close to 10 years before meeting the love of his life in Savannah GA in 1985.

Lester was blessed with a large and loving family. He married his love and best friend Cho, on January 22, 1996 in Hinesville, GA and they raised four beautiful children with patience, discipline, and love. He taught them to work hard, never take no for an answer, and how to be an Alabama fan. He was a builder by heart. He was very kind and easy-going, and always took time to solve a problem no matter the size. He was a great husband, father, and mentor to many. He loved caring for people and grilling enormous amounts of food for anyone who loved good company and was essentially the “Father of all Fathers” to infinite.  He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Lester is survived by his wife, Hui Yon Seale; his son, Sung Seale; and three daughters, Misty Seale, Christine Sweeting, and Jamie Seale; his grandchildren, Kyle Seale, Ava Seale, and Olivia Seale; two brothers, James Seale and Joseph Seale; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.    

Family, friends, and others are invited to Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville, GA on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. to reminisce and mend one another during this parting time. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Hinesville Cemetery.  

Social distancing practices will be in effect and masks are required to enter the funeral home.
