Leslie Ann Kelley

Midway

Leslie Ann Kelley, born on September 17, 1977, in Washington, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on April 5, 2025.

Growing up, Leslie loved spending her days outside, trying to keep up with her older siblings. A true tomboy at heart, she preferred fishing, swimming in the creek, and proving she could hang with the boys. Family has always been incredibly important to her; her mama was not just her mother but her best friend and confidant.

Throughout her life, Leslie faced many trials and tribulations, yet she emerged stronger each time. If you knew her, you would know that becoming a mom gave her a profound sense of purpose. Bringing life into this world at just 16 years old is no easy feat, but with unwavering dedication, love, and sacrifice, she ensured her kids experienced a life filled with love and opportunities for success. Her whole world revolved around her children, and she was the best mom and mamaw anyone could ask for.

Leslie was always hands-on in her kids' lives, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Throughout her life, Leslie remained her nature loving self. Her hobbies included hunting, searching for Indian beads and arrowheads, mushroom hunting, reading, cooking and simply spending time with family and friends.

In July 2019, she moved to Midway, GA, after reuniting with her childhood sweetheart, Mike Kelley. They married in July 2020, and she embraced her role as a devoted housewife, amazing cook and fur mama to her “boys,” Bugsy and Chopper.

Living each day as a free-spirited soul, Leslie took joy in caring for those she loved. With a heart of gold, she always appreciated the simpler things in life. In Midway, she built a beautiful life, making friends who became family over the years. They spent countless nights playing dice, chatting at the dining room table, and simply enjoying life together.

Leslie had no idea just how special she truly was and how many lives she touched along the way. To be loved by her was a rare and wonderful gift.
