John Charles Elliott

John C. Elliott was born on October 5, 1940 in Whitefield, NH. He went to be with the lord on August 5, 2023 at 82 years old.

He is survived by his wife Joyce of 65 years; sister, Ruth; daughters, Laurie and Michelle; three granddaughters, Brooke, Vanessa and Amy; two great-grandsons, Bradley and Tyler; and two great-granddaughters Delilah and Emma. John was preceded in death by his two children, Sharon Fleming and John Elliott, II.

After graduating from high school in Whitefield, NH John joined the U.S. Army serving his country in the infantry and air defense units as a Staff Sergeant for 10 years and then after receiving a direct appointment as an Officer for an additional 16 years before retiring as a CW4. Returning to civilian life, he was employed by Ford Aerospace Newport Beach, CA as a Logistics Manager and finished his career with a consulting firm in El Paso, TX as a Senior Military Analyst consulting for U.S. and foreign governments and defense contractors for 15 years.

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Southern Illinois University while on active duty and a Master's Degree in Business Administration at Webster University after retirement from the Army. John retired in Olympia Washington to be close to his family. He touched many hearts with his sense of humor, generosity and eagerness to help others.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and staff for the care he received.
