Irene was born on April 2, 1946 in Hainstadt, Germany. She was a beautiful, kind, and loving wife, mother, and best friend. Before retiring, Irene was employed in laundry and dry-cleaning. Her gentle, mild spirit will always be remembered.
Irene leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 55 years, Benjamin F. Turner, Jr. of Hinesville, GA; seven children, Caroline Bege of Flensberg, Germany, Peggy Francis of Waxahachie, TX, Kirsten Andersen of Denmark, Benjamin Turner of Savannah, GA, Lisa Chadwick of Hinesville, GA, Marcus Turner of Palm Springs, FL, and David Turner of Douglasville, GA; ten grandchildren, Dennis Bege, Sidney Bege, Jaculine Bege, Darrel Bege, Brittany Francis, Andre Francis, Dianne Chadwick, Chelsea Chadwick, Benjamin Turner, and Brianna Turner; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and special friends.
