Glenn Arthur Hoffer, 95, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.

Glenn lived most of his life in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and lived in Richmond Hill for the past 5 years. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II and in the Korean War as a First Lieutenant. For the past 35 years, he was a real estate journalist for the Ft. Lauderdale News.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Celia Hoffer; and daughter, Marianela Hoffer.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with a Rosary Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at St. Anne Martha-Mary Chapel with Reverend Allan McDonald officiating. Military honors will precede the service. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and regulations, seating at the service will be limited. The public is invited to watch the service via Livestream at www.facebook.com/stanneccrh. Social distancing will be observed in all locations and the wearing of masks is required.
