Frank Henry Parker, Sr., 83, entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
Frank was born in Wheaton, Georgia to the late Homer and Gladys Dukes Parker. He grew up in Southeast Georgia and moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin in his mid-twenties. There he met his wife of 57 years, Jacqueline (Jackie) Holmes, and started a family. He worked for Northern Railroad and Torrance Casting in Wisconsin. After moving back to Georgia, he worked in construction and retired from the City of Hinesville.
Frank was dependable, kind, and a wonderful man who never failed to help those in need. He will be greatly missed and leaves his family and friends with many loving memories.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jackie; his son and namesake, Frank Parker, Jr. (Frankie); and his four sisters, Earldine, Avis, Katie, and Helen.
Frank is survived by his brother, Homer; three daughters, Kimberly (David), Tamera (Jerry), and Lynnette (Jeff); grandchildren, Ryan, Grayson, Brandon, Garrett, Brooke, Christopher, Garrett, Victoria, Katie, Haley, and Britney; great-grandsons, Landon and Grayson; and great-granddaughters, Kezlynne, Ellie, Saylor, and Tayen; in addition to several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Badea and the dedicated staff of Coastal Manor in Ludowici, who have taken wonderful care of our father through all kinds of challenges. Your compassion and many kindnesses will never be forgotten by our family. We also wish to thank Dr. Peters (Cardiology) and Dr. Bannout (Primary Care) for many years of faithful service.
There will be no local service at this time. Frank’s family will have a private gathering at a later date.
