Ernest G. Dale, Sr., 90, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Ernest was born on December 14, 1931 in Asheville, NC and lived in Richmond Hill for the past twenty years. He was a long-distance truck driver and he enjoyed working on home projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Edith Dale; brother, Fred Dale, Jr.; and sister, Barbara Dale.
Ernest is survived by his wife of seventy years, Betty J. Dale; son, Ernest G. Dale, Jr. and daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly A. and Greg Hickman all of Richmond Hill; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hickman and Tyler Hickman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Ernest’s family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in Oak Hill Cemetery.
