Emani Raymond Philip, 27, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. 

Emani was born on October 28, 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii, and lived most of his life in Hinesville, GA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked at International Paper – Savannah Mill.

He was a devoted, loving husband and father with an infectious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. Emani was outgoing, friendly, caring, and never met a stranger. He enjoyed playing video games and motorcycles. He was pursuing an IT Degree. His dream was to be a video game streamer and work with computers. 

Emani is survived by his wife, Daina Philip; four children, Logan Emani Mays-Philip, Kainani London Reign Mays-Philip, Skylar, and Stella; mother, Fuatino Kodama; father, Robert Perez; sisters, Emele Betty Clark, Dusseigneur Kiara Perez, Mele Lesina Carmen Perez, Evaliga Filomena Fa'aleo Perez, and Fuatino Raynette Perez; brother, Quincy Chifnay Philip, Jr.; and numerous beloved family members. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.
