Elizabeth A. Blount, 84, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at home.
Elizabeth lived most of her life in Fleming. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed gardening and baking cakes for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, William Blount; granddaughter, Diane Blount Bailey; and great-granddaughter, Heaven Usher.
Elizabeth is survived by two daughters and son-in-law’s, Frances and Tim Oliver and Pat and Henry Haymans; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and John Shuman; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Lucy Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1805 Cartertown Road, Richmond Hill, GA 31324. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the service in Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery.
