Dorothy (Dot) Evelyn Cohan

March 26, 1934 — January 2, 2022

Dorothy (Dot) Evelyn Cohan, 87, a resident of Spring Hill, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at The Reserve at Spring Hill.  

Dot graduated from Bradwell Institute and Georgia State College for Women and was a teacher in the Liberty County School System for many years. She was also the organist and a member at Hinesville First United Methodist Church for forty-two years.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lois Cohan; and her brother, Richard (Dick) Cohan.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Cohan of Franklin, Tennessee; nephew, Tim (Vera) Cohan of Johns Creek, Georgia; niece, Jamie Cohan of Augusta, Georgia; her beloved friend, Anita Pringle of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and countless others whose lives she touched.
