Daryl Alan Loterbaugh, a Vietnam Veteran, passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on August 22, 1954, Daryl spent his life devoted to his wife, and being there for his children, and grandchildren.

Daryl was deeply passionate about all things related to classic cars, often found relishing the excitement of car shows, where his enthusiasm for these timeless machines could be seen in his bright smile and animated conversations. He also enjoyed the intricate art of assembling model cars, a hobby that reflected both his patience and creativity. Daryl was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing, and being outdoors where he found peace in the solitude. 

Above all, Daryl cherished his family, especially his wife and grandchildren. He loved them dearly and took great joy in being a part of their lives, creating memories that will be forever treasured. He is survived by his son, Shawn Loterbaugh, and his daughter, Shawnna Hardesty, along with his beloved grandchildren: Amaya Loterbaugh, Katie Snyder, Kaylee, Kaydence Hardesty, and Noah Hardesty.

Daryl is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 33 years, Cheryl Loterbaugh, whose memory he carried in his heart throughout his life. 

Family will receive friends on Friday July 11th, 2025 at 6 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home.

Memorial Service will follow at 7 P.M. in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home.
