Carrie L. Houser

Carrie L. Houser, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at home surrounded by her family.

Carrie was born in Easton, PA on August 7, 1947. She lived her most of her life in Nazareth, PA and for the past several years lived in Hinesville, GA. She was a machine operator until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, and playing board games with her beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-five years, Franklin Houser, Sr; and her parents, Paul H. DeRohn and Gladys Nagle.

Carrie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Linda Houser, Jr.; grandson, Franklin Houser, III; and four granddaughters, Brittany and Tiffany VanCamp of Brown Mills, NJ; Cierra VanCamp of Phillipsburg, NJ; and Amanda Reibman of Bethlehem, PA.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Reverend Gabe Gill officiating. Carrie’s family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be held in Williams Twsp, PA on a later date where Carrie will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carter Funeral Home in Carrie’s name.
