Carolyn Ann Rushing

Carolyn Ann Farmer Rushing, 77, passed away on March 21, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Carolyn was born in Dorchester, GA and has lived in Richmond Hill, GA and Savannah, GA most of her life and for the past eight years has lived in Rincon, GA. She was a member of Daniel Siding Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching John Wayne movies with her favorite companion, Tiny. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Britton Rushing; mother, Christine Farmer; father, James Farmer; son, Tommy Downs; and brother, Carlton Farmer. She is survived by three daughters, Jenny Cebada (Rick) of Albuquerque, NM; Dorothy Drew (Ellis) and Charlotte Fischer (Frank) of Guyton, GA; one son, Henry John “Buck” Rushing of Rincon, GA; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a very special friend and caregiver Tina Roper; and a special cousin Vivian Pippens. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel and funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fleming, GA. Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
