Brian Eric Kiefer, 46, passed on October 13, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, after a long-time illness with family by his side. Brian was a lifelong resident of Allenhurst, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Woodrow Wilson Ellis and Virgie Harrell Ellis of Ludowici, Georgia; and paternal grandparents, Leo Vincent Kiefer and Lorene Favier Kiefer of Perryville, Missouri.
He is survived by his parents, Dale and Brenda Kiefer of Allenhurst; his sister, Laurie Fields (Shawn); nieces, Ella and Emma Fields of Allenhurst, and Cherish Palmer (Timothy) of Brookfield, Wisconsin; daughter, Libby Kiefer of Hinesville; as well as many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
He attended Bradwell Institute. He owned and operated Liberty Pools in Hinesville for over 10 years. Brian enjoyed nature, fossil hunting, kayaking, helping animals in need, tinkering with projects, solving problems and learning as much as he could on many various subjects. He was a man filled with a wealth of knowledge, often referred to as MacGyver.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday October 17, 2022 for friends and family at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Hinesville Cemetery.
