Betty Bunkley, 94, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Betty was born in Dalton, GA. She lived a fulfilling life and was just two days shy of her 95th birthday.
She was a faithful member of the congregation at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Walthourville, GA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bunkley, and three sons, David Cadden, Alton Methvin, and Pat Methvin. Betty is survived by two daughters, Sharon Thompson and Lisa Bunkley; one son, Bob Bunkley; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and special family friend, Robin Phillips.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Betty's life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1779 Talmadge Road, Walthourville, GA 31301.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
