Barbara Anderson Meddings, 86, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at home surrounded by her family.
Barbara was born in Statesboro, GA and lived most of her life in Savannah, in the latter part of her life she lived in Hinesville. She was a member of Savannah Primitive Baptist Church. She retired from Bank of America after 40 years. Barbara was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jasper Anderson.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert E. Meddings; two sons, Edwin R. Anderson and Michael P. Anderson; one stepson, Daryle Meddings; six grandchildren, Jason Anderson, Michael H. Anderson, Ashley Brabham, Justin Meddings, Carson Meddings, and Destiney Anderson; brother, Jimmy Rigdon; and sister, Linda Givens.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Ephesus Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 301 South, Statesboro, GA 30458.
