Arvind Francis Ganaway

Arvind Francis Ganaway, 36, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA.

Arvind was born on March 14, 1986 in Petersburg, VA. He grew up in a military family and lived in many different places including, South Korea, Colorado, Georgia, and Japan. He enjoyed traveling to New York to visit family twice a year. Arvind graduated from Richmond Hill High School, he also attended the Gateway Center in Hinesville, GA, and he was a member of the Liberty County ARC along with his parents. He took swimming lessons as a little boy. He loved to swim in the pool and loved to play in the sand at the beach.

He was a member of Saint Stephen the First Martyr Catholic Church. He enjoyed Mass and had a favorite pew during service. Arvind loved to listen to music. He had an eclectic taste in music from African drums to Elvis Presley. He loved to dance and one of his many favorite songs was Suspicious Minds. His favorite holiday was Christmas because he enjoyed the lights and the decorations. He lived a good, faith filled and loving life.

Arvind was never married. He was loved by his parents; brother; sisters; sister-in-law; and nieces and nephews. He was also loved by his grandparents; godparents; aunts; uncles; many cousins; and dear friends from across the USA, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Dominican Republic.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 399 Woodland Drive, Hinesville, GA 31313. Arvind's family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
