Annette White

Annette White, 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Candler Hospital. 

Annette was a lifelong resident of Liberty County. She was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Richmond Hill. She devoted herself to helping and caring for others. She loved spending time with her family, especially caring for her grandchildren and helping them navigate through life challenges. Annette enjoyed nature and being surrounded by God’s creations. She had a fondness for birds and butterflies and enjoyed gardening, camping, and fishing.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hansford and Mavis Yarbrough; two brothers, Jimmy Bradley and Wallace Bradley; and two sisters, Betty Reed and Judy Ferguson.  

Annette is survived by her children, James Platt (Etsuko), Mavis Hardman (Bill), Elsie Winkel-Richey (Jason), and adoptive mother to Veronica Johnson, Charley Hulett, and Arthur Stanton; twenty-one grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four brothers, Larry Bradley (Janet), Lloyd Bradley (Sherry), Harris Bradley (Dolly), and Henry Yarbrough; two sisters, Brenda Barnett and Glenda Irwin (Doug); and many extended family members.  

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Carter Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 881 Belfast River Road, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
