Andrew Pierce Graves of Hinesville, GA passed away on August 17, 2021 in his sleep. He was the son of Jack and Ora Graves, also of Hinesville.

Andrew was born on June 28, 1985 in Petersburg, VA. After visiting Germany for a short while, he moved to Hinesville in 1987. He attended Liberty County public schools, finishing high school at Bradwell Institute in 2004. His parents share fond memories with many of his former teachers.

Andrew was an avid video gamer, enjoyed watching the Weather Channel, and liked to visit and try different restaurants with his favorites being Taco Bell and Subway. He was known to perplex many Subway artisans with his unique sandwich ideas. He also enjoyed going on road trips to the South-Central Virginia area to see family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter P. Graves, Jr. of Richmond, VA and Anne Ralston Graves of Petersburg, VA; and maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Kathleen Puckett of Colonial Heights, VA.

Andrew leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Jack and Ora Graves; big brother, Jack Jr. (Liona); nephew, Jack James "JJ"; nieces, Gwendolyn "Lotus” Bugg all of Hinesville, GA and Anna Graves of Rincon, GA; aunts, Jeanie Graves of Chester, VA, Kathi Holly of Powhatan, VA, Roseanne Medill Richmond, VA, and Mary McGrath of Colonial Heights, VA; uncles, Michael Graves of Arkansas, Patrick Graves of Raphine, VA, John and Tammy Puckett of Carson, VA, and numerous extended family members.

Memorial services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Hinesville First United Methodist Church. Andrew’s family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Masks will be required and we ask that everyone in attendance please follow protocols posted near the sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andrew's name to Able Gamers Charity or to Hinesville First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 203 North Main Street, Hinesville, GA 31313.
