Vera B. Tilley, 73, died Wednesday August 3, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Bulloch County and lived in Midway the past 7 years. She loved fishing, canning and gardening.
She is survived by her children James Johnson of Bulloch County, Betty Sue Winters (Tim) of Bryan County and Roy Eugene Riggs (Rose) of Midway; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 sisters; 1 brother; several other family members.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday August 6, 2016 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Rev. Scott Spear officiating.
