Joanne Mary Fraley Hiebler, 73, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at home unexpectedly.

She was born and raised in Baltimore, MD and spent most of her life in Savannah. She worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Savannah and retired from the NSA in Maryland. She is a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church and graduated from Notre Dame University all girls Catholic Preparatory High School. She was a loving, caring, thoughtful, kind and awesome mother and grandmother.

She is survived by four children Laura Joan Carter of Richmond Hill, Michael Paul Fraley of Beaufort, SC, Maureen Rose Green (George Dale Green) of Richmond Hill and Patrick Albert Fraley (Darlene Fraley) of Guyton; 2 sisters Barbara Riggin of Annapolis, MD and Lorraine Bartch of Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren Daniel Fraley, Christopher Fraley, PJ Fraley, Allie Fraley, Brandon Fraley, Daphne Fraley and Becca Carter; a niece Carrie Schmidt.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Richmond Hill at 1:00 p.m.
