Barry Curtis Hellon

Barry C. Hellon, 52, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

He lived in Hinesville for the past 25 years and was a veteran of the United States Army.  He loved to fish and he loved his truck, his boys and his grandson.  He loved his wife with all of his heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Hellon; brothers, Louis Bauer and David Bauer; and stepbrother, Bill Hellon.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Jane E. Hellon; children, Christopher E. Hellon and Jeffery C. Hellon, both of Hinesville; grandson, Jeffery I. Hellon (L.J.); mother, Betty Hellon, sisters, Teresa Townsend, Debbie Smalling, and Melody Meyer; and stepbrother, Harry Hellon.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
