My sweet granddaughter, Alexis Nicole Bolinger, 15, went to play with the angels at God’s side on April 26, 2017.

Lexi was born September 3, 2001, to Billy Ray McCormick and Crystal Marie Shyrock, and raised by her loving grandmother in Rincon, GA, and her godmother, who called her “Shorty”, in Guyton.  Lexi was a beautiful young lady who excelled in school and loved AFJROTC.  She dreamed of flying jets one day.  Lexi adored the days at the beach, the trips to the drive inn, and all of the little excursions and adventures she and her grandmother enjoyed together.

She is survived by her grandmother, Cynthia Bolinger; mother, Crystal Bolinger Shyrock; father,  Billy McCormick; grandmother, Mattie McCormick; brothers, David Shyrock, Timothy Bolinger, and Trenton McCormick; godmother, Anne Muendel; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 2-4 pm, Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Goshen United Methodist Church, and the funeral service will follow at 4 pm.
