Rinaldo Wunderlich

June 7, 1933 — July 4, 2017



Rinaldo Wunderlich, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at home.

A native of Germany, he lived in the Hinesville for the past 50 years.  He was retired from the United States Army and a Vietnam Veteran.   He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his passion was training dogs in obedience, agility, and attack.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursula Wunderlich. 

He is survived by his two children, Daniel Wunderlich of Ludowici and Conny Lopez of Hinesville; two step-daughters, Terri Walton of Alabama and Naomie Gaster of North Carolina; two brothers; grandchildren, Barbara Heaxt, Brittany High, James Lovett, Mickey Lovett, and Alexis Wunderlich.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral Services will begin at 11 am, Friday, July 7, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home.  Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Oglethorpe Memorial Park.
