Mrs. Marie Pearson Allbritton, 66, of Sylvester died Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Allbritton was born on December 2, 1950 in Brunswick to the late Marcus A. and Martha Cheek Pearson. She was retired from Liberty County Tax Commissioners office with over 18 years of service, and was a charter member at Calvary Baptist Church in Sumner, Georgia. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially bird watching.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Allbritton of Sylvester; daughter, Janet Smith (Scott) of Sylvester; siblings , Margaret Warren (Johny) of Anniston AL, Phyllis Gaskin of Pine Harbor GA, Barbara Page of Columbia, NC, Mary Ann Guyton (O. Randy) of Dunedin FL, and Marcus A. "Tony" Pearson, Jr. (Debra) of Leland NC.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Allbritton was preceded in death by a brother Rollie Guy Pearson and 2 brothers-in- law, Myers Gaskin and David Page.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday July 31, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church in Gum Branch with interment to follow in the church Cemetery.
