William F. "Junior" Edwards

William F. “Junior” Edwards, 89, passed away Friday December 29, 2017, at home surrounded by his family. Junior lived in Midway for the past 14 years and was a member of Compassion Christian Church and the Senior Group in Midway.  He was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy and an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean Edwards; children, Hope Bagley (Bruce), Bill Edwards (Kelli), Bobby Edwards (Shim), Larry Edwards, Glenda McComb, ViAnn Mohler (Mark), Sharon Robinson (Bill) Ronald Butters (Mary), Janine Whaley (John), and Mark Shepherd (Kimberly); 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral service will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service.  Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
