Inez Henderson

Inez Shannon Henderson, 91 a resident of Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond Hill, GA, passed away on November 7, 2017. She was born in Alma, GA on September 22, 1926 to the late Jerry Dewitt and Fannie Shannon. The Bacon County native was a long time resident of Richmond Hill. She was a member of the Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, member of the Bunny Club and was retired from the Richmond Hill School System. Inez is proceeded in death by her husband of 43 years, Calfrey (CG) Henderson, sisters Dorothy Cole and Alvada King. She is survived by six daughters, Kay (George) Hechinger of Cincinnati, OH; Kathy (Bill) Aichele of Sun Lakes, AZ; Karlyn (Michael) Flisnick of Ormond Beach, FL; Kim (Barry) Jedrzejewski of Richmond Hill, GA; Kelly Jolly of Rincon, GA; and Kendera Thomas of Ormond Beach, FL; one son, Kevin (Tonya) Henderson of Richmond Hill, GA; two sisters, Naomi Martin of Pineville, NC and Christine Humphrey of Vidalia, GA; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at the Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, 9050 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, GA, on November 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Glennville City Cemetery following the service.
