Wayne Howard Foster

Wayne Howard Foster, 75, passed away at home Saturday, September 24, 2016, surrounded by his family and under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. Born in Jackson County, Georgia, he was the son of Harold Dean and Gladys Howard Foster.  He was a member of Union Baptist Church in Winder, GA.  He was preceded in death by his son Jon Michael Foster; two brothers, Harold Dean Foster, Jr., and Jon Phillip Foster. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Lee Foster; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Wayne Foster and Lisa Folk Foster; one sister, Saralyn Foster Robinson; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
